my new Black Nike sandals

4th December 2008 - Yippee! Today daddy bought me another pair of sandals. ;)) The last pair i had really worn out quite fast, with the strap almost coming off. So tis time daddy decided to get me a new pair wid better quality so we went to City Mall tonite to hunt for my sandals. Finally, mummy & daddy agreed to buy me a pair of Nike sandals. Daddy said some things really need to depend on its quality and if it's worthy of ur money, especially footwear. Luckily Lea Sports Centre had its year-end sales going on, so my pair of sandals was on 20% discount. The actual price was RM80+, (mummy couldn't remember the exact price!) but hopefully my new black Nike sandals will last tis time.

Short Trip to Labuan & Kundasang

Jayden's mummy :- "
29-30th November 2008 - On tis Saturday morning, we headed off for Labuan. Jayden's first time there, and mine too... and together wid ahDen's granduncle & grandaunt whole family. Honestly, ahDen was quite a good boy all thru the trip. At first i feared he couldn't stand sitting in the car for so long and after tat the ferry trip to Labuan somemore, but he gaved a pretty impressing progress tis time, so next time can consider going elsewhere liao. Hee hee....

2hrs drive from Tanjung Aru, KotaKinabalu to the Menumbok Jetty, then another 2hrs ferry trip to Labuan. Really tiring but luckily in the very packed ferry, we bought seats in the VIP Lounge and before tat although we had to squeeze in the car but we traveled in hubby's Ninja King, so honestly Jayden had quite a comfortable ride. We stayed in Hotel Pantai View in Labuan, and thanks to Uncle NgeeBang for helping us to book rooms beforehand, else we might ended up sleeping on the streets. We went to the Marine Museum in Labuan, and Jayden was amused wid all the fishes. He was pointing to all the colourful fishes swimming around and making his usual "uuu... uu... uuuu..." sound. Tat was during the speed visiting we had on the following day, Sunday, before we needed to board the ferry back to Menumbok. We went to the War Memorial too, and also another place called The Chimney Peace Park. Dunno wat's so attractive there really, juz a tall chimney standing there.

Some photos of ahDen during the Labuan trip :-

1st-2nd December 2008 - Monday noon, 2.30pm, after lunch we made our way up the path to Mt. Kinabalu. My first time overnite there and of cuz, Jayden's too. I owest worried if it'll be too cold for him up there so we never bring him overnite there until now, when we assume he's old enuf. We made room reservation at Ko-Perkasa Hotel, and when we reached there we only realised they'd changed their name to Mount Kinabalu Heritage. It was a nice place, way up a steep hill at Kundasang. We asked for connecting chalets, for my uncle and his family and us.

After we checked in, we walked around taking photos of the beautiful scenery. After tat, we drove down to the Kundasang market where fresh veggies and fruits are abundant for sale. I bought some mangosteens and 'langsat'... The weather was chilly and really nice. I helped ahDen put on his jacket and he seems to be enjoying himself very much at this new place. When we reached our chalets after dinner, it was oledi 7pm. I started to worry cox it was getting dark and cold and ahDen had not taken his bath for the whole day yet. No matter wat, must gif him his bath cox i feared he might feel heaty.

So we switched on the water heater, needing 20minutes at least for the water to be heated, then in the bathroom Jayden went wid mummy & daddy following behind. We tried to bathe him as fast as possible, using the shower there. Luckily he wasn't terrified to bathe using the shower cox til now i still bathe him using the scoop and pour method, where i'll pour water over his body using a small mug. Then ahDen's granduncle suddenly opened the bathroom door and snapped photos of ahDen bathing! =))

Tat nite, ahDen slept really soundly. Partly bcox he was tired and the air there felt so refreshing and chilly, like natural air-cond. It drizzled tat nite and the next morning when everyone was awake, little Jayden still slept so soundly like a little piglet. ;)) Must be really tiring. After we checked out, we went to Ranau for breakfast and then made our way to Poring Hot Spring. Little Jayden had so much fun at the hot spring, even went naked into the big bath tub and peed there! Haha.... really a nice experience for him. Around noon time we made our way back to KotaKinabalu, stopping at Tuaran around 2.30pm for our lunch. Although tired, Jayden really enjoyed the company he got from uncle KingChing and his family.
